The Jays featured players like Jerry Garvin, Roy Howell, Bob Bailor, and many others
• On August 27, 1977, the Toronto Blue Jays played the Oakland Athletics in Toronto. In the photo, Oakland Athletics’ Bill North slides into home past Blue Jays catcher Allan Ashby. The Athletics would go on to win the game 9-8
