- Considered one of Joe Louis greatest fights as he knocks out Buddy Baer in the first round and the following day Louis enlisted in the Army
- Good condition; staples have been carefully removed with notable residual spine damage from once being filed in a binder. Interior pages are detached but complete and clean throughout with little to no visible creasing and no rips or tears. Date and names written in top left corner of front cover in pen with some smudging.
