- Lincoln, most notable for emancipating the slaves and saving the union, was gunned down by actor John Wilkes Booth while attending a play at Ford’s Theater in Washington, D.C. on April 14th, 1865, succumbing to his injuries the next day
- Great condition; a few light tears in some interior pages. Some minor soiling on the cover but preserved well for its age
