• World War 1 (WWI) Liberty Loan Poster by the U.S. Government circa 1917
• Original vintage Third Liberty Loan Poster advertising US Gov’t Bonds – an original piece by prolific and talented artist/illustrator Sidney Riesenberg, known for illustrating a large number of early war-ware, detective, sea storis and western pulp covers
• Dramatic war propaganda poster displays a US soldier carrying the flag “over the top” of the hill to plant it in foreign soil in victory with the words “Over the Top for You” above him
• Size: 20″ x 30″
• Excellent condition considering its age; small hole near the middle is the most significant blemish, as well as some paper loss in the top left corner. Otherwise some light general wear and tear around the edges is notable with some very small tears and creasing that doesn’t impair the illustration itself.
• Poster is now shrink wrapped to core board to ensure its integrity, and will be shipped flat so as to keep its shape
