• Richard Evelyn Byrd Jr. was an American naval officer and explorer. He received the Medal of Honor in 1926
• Commander Richard E. Byrd sent this letter to a fan asking for his autograph
• Great condition; autograph presents well with no fading or smudging. Letter has creasing due to folding, some slight tearing along left side edge, corner and edge wear. Slight fading around edges
