• Paul McCartney Autographed with Inscription Boxed copy of The Complete Greed of Erich Von Stroheim
• McCartney made the inscription out to Composer Bernard Herrmann who had asked Paul to assist him in scoring a movie
• The inscription reads “To Benny from Paul – you’ll have to supply the score yourself – I’m sure you’ll have no trouble. I hope we can work together again.”
• Housed in red cloth clamshell box with a black morocco label on the spine
• Dimensions: 10-3/8″ x 10-3/4″ in box
• Very good condition; presentation box is well preserved with little to no visible handling wear. Book shows notable wear, including a large crease on the front cover with spine creasing, scuffing and scratching throughout the front and back covers. Notable surface paper loss in the bottom right corner of the front cover. Interior pages are largely clean throughout with some glue residue from splitting at the spine. McCartneys inscription shows no smudging, bleeding or fading. On the same page of the inscription is some very faint writing along the top edge
