- Also features several other Hall of Famers and stars, including Roberto Clemente, Bill Maseroski and Willie Stargell for the Pirates; Johnny Bench, Tony Perez and Pete Rose for the Reds, as well as HOF Sparky Anderson managing.
- Reds would go on to sweep the Pirates in 3 games and lose to the Baltimore Orioles in the 1970 World Series
