Description
- Earl Grey signed one page corresponding letter on Government House Ottawa letterhead. In the letter it says that the person wrote in and enclosed $1 for the signature. The page with the autograph is dated March 30/05 and the letter is dated March 31/05
- Sir Albert Henry George Grey (Earl Grey) Canada’s 9th Governor General December 10th, 1904 – October 12th, 1911. In March he donated the Grey Cup to the 1909 Canadian Football Champions University of Toronto. For his contribution to football in 1963 Grey was made a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame
- Measurements: 2 8 x 10 sheets of paper folded in halves
- Very good condition; staple marks are visible on either side of the fold on both pages. Little to no notable creasing (other than original folding creases) and no rips or tears. Some light handling wear along the edges. Content and autograph present very well with little to no smudging, bleeding or fading. Autograph shows some splash marking at the bottom from the fountain pen. A few small marks of discolouration on each page.
